Building a childhood that plays and learns through movement.
Milo Play is building a new kind of play console for kids — one where their body is the controller. Motion-powered games that turn jumping, moving, dodging and waving into play. Built to make screen time more active, engaging and fun.
We wanted kids to play.
Our kids love games too.
But we noticed something. The more exciting the screen became, the less kids had to move to enjoy it.
Sit down.
Pick up a controller.
Stay in one place.
And we started wondering:
What if playing a game meant moving again?
What if a child could jump to jump?
Move to run?
Wave to cast a spell?
Duck to dodge?
Reach to catch?
So we started building Milo Play.
Not to take games away from kids.
But to make games move with them.
Kids need better screen time.
Screen time is not going away, and pretending otherwise has not helped a single family we have met.
What we found instead was a gap. Everything built for young children assumes they will be sitting down:
- Play that asks nothing of the body
- Learning apps that reward tapping, not doing
- Devices built for one child, alone
Not because anyone wanted that. Because a seated child is easier to design for — and nobody had made moving the point.
Children do not learn by holding still. They learn by reaching, trying, missing, laughing and going again. We wanted a device that knew that.
That is why we built Milo Play.
Milo Play
A play console built for the children who can’t sit still — and shouldn’t have to.
Active enough to feel like real play. Gentle enough for a living room. Simple enough that a five-year-old needs no help to start.
Not because kids need another screen. Because they deserve a better one.
Make play more active.
To make active play the easiest thing in the house — so every child can move, discover and learn without a screen holding them still.
The future of play is in motion.
A generation that grows up moving — where the most-loved screen in the home is the one that gets children off the sofa and playing together.
